Chances are you will have to come up with something specific and unique to mount it. Use can use a bracket or make a fan holder out of a small piece of thin aluminum bar. That's the fun part of making the silent system.

eBay is your friend. Get a Slot1 fanless heatsink and then put undervolted 80mm fan on it.

Actually steam doesn't condense on your bathroom mirror because it's cold. the mirror is the same temperature as your walls or your towels. Nope, water condenses on the surface of the mirror because the mirror is colder than the air. The mirror shows condensation much better... This is right. VERiO...

Thanks for the link, but it says: Meaning that read-only memory can be modified by computer software, as I do all that time for my other hardware. Do you mean that reading from the ROM chip is not possible? No, I mean writing to ROM chip is not possible, as on a CD-ROM. I think StorageReview should...

According to this page, firmware is in a read only memory, so copying is not possible.

I have the same problem with 7200.7 80G and 200G IDE drives.
Going to have to ditch the drives if I can't stop them doing this!!
Try NoizEnvader's suggestion.

I've picked up a new socketA ATX mobo few days ago, its DFI nF2 U400S-AL . Allows for VCore adjustment in BIOS, values are from 1.1V to 2.0V in 0.025V increments except for settings of: 1.275, 1.875, 1.925, 1.975, but who needs those anyway. Also allows for multiplier adjustment for unlocked CPUs. N...

I had a similar problem, after undervolting the CPU fan my system would freeze in 2-3 hours, but the CPU temperature was below 50. It turned out to be the overheating northbridge. Air from the CPU heatsink is blowing on it on it, but there was not enough airflow when CPU fan was at 5V. Hope this helps

With absolutely zero empirical data to back it up, I wonder if cache actually becomes more useful the smaller the drive is. Smaller the hard drive, greater the chance the data you need is in the cache. On two random consecutive reads, on 2nd read, with 8MB cache, the chance data is in the cache is:...
