The silent front

I read http://www.sweclockers.com/nyhet/14598- ... an-flaktar (Swedish) and thought that was what I want! Though with the addition of a graphics card that is capable of playing Quake Wars.

Nice!
I was actually going to do that exact same thing, but on its side so the convection of heat through the fins might help cool it better. Instead I settled for a slow fan in a m350, as i have lots of city traffic noise now.
Glad someone actually built one!

He did put it one the side with the help of the stand http://www.sweclockers.com/galleri/8105 ... -itx-bygge (Swedish). Would it be possible to build a similar computer but also include a silent PSU http://www.silentpcreview.com/Fanless_P ... one_ST50NF and a passively cooled graphics card like an nVidia GTS 450 http://news.softpedia.com/news/Asus-Pre ... 9501.shtml. Would such a system be able to play Quake Wars?

Honestly, I dont know -In the spirit of SPCR , try it! With ambient temps in Sweden, it could be possible.
The problem is how to get GPU heat sink outside case too? and also make sure PSU, GPU VRM's and other mobo components still get enough cooling/airflow...?
My thinking was best convection results should be achieved if mobo and GPU are vertical... (or just angled instead of flat)
