Akasa Galileo thought

Post by -=neo=- » Sun Jul 13, 2014 2:41 pm

Been thinking that the akasa Galileo would make a pretty decent htpc given the number thin mini itx boards and 35w CPUs. I saw on a picture that the case only makes use of two of the four heatpipes on the CPU block.

How difficult would it be to drill two additional lanes into the heatsink area to make use of all four heatpipes and up the efficiency or increase the tpd of the case?

Looking to do this or go ahead with a lian li pcq05...

Thoughts on this and the level of difficultly in drilling into the metal (make the assumption that I have home tools and nothing special)

My sig is so out of date!

Thanks all
