Fractal Define R5: windowed noise levels?

Post by Mandarb » Wed Jul 15, 2015 4:57 pm

I recently had to rip apart my two Antec P150 builds to migrate a power supply so I'm thinking it's time to upgrade to something a little more modern. The R5 seems to be the winner for me. I need two, one for an always on Linux server, and the other for an occasionally on gaming box. I was thinking of going slightly flashy and getting the windowed version for the gaming box, but I was wondering if anyone knows, or has tested, the noise different between the two. Does the window allow more noise out, and how much?

Thanks,
Omen

My bet is any measurable difference would be within any test equipment's margin of error.
