As it doesn't have a fan controller, would a windowless NZXT H440 with its 4 fans plugged into Asus MBO yield a very quite case?
I wouldn't have any HDD, as an SSD M2 can be plugged directly, which means removing all the hard drives trays for unobstructed airflow.
So, increased cooling would then decrease the need for fan rotation increase, even under load?
Would that be a great silent case then?

The issue with the H440 seems to be more down to limited venting of the case itself rather than internal airflow.

Nevermind, I just discovered that Define S exists, that + additional SILENT WINGS 2 140mm front fan should do it.
