there are nVidia Linux drivers that have CUDA supportDutchmm wrote:

Are these Points Per Day, while running the GPU for full days? I expected more... A PS3 will do about 900 PPD.Elvellon wrote:Edit: compiled their folding-strength .

*GTX 260: 238 (final clock speeds may change; the processors are different too, so could be way off)
*GTX 280: 311 (same)
The number nexto each card model are the number of stream processors as stated in the origional post.spookmineer wrote:Are these Points Per Day, while running the GPU for full days? I expected more... A PS3 will do about 900 PPD.Elvellon wrote:Edit: compiled their folding-strength .

The 8800 GTX and 8800 Ultra, as well as the 9800 GTX, have 128 stream processors so that can't be correct.kittle wrote:The number nexto each card model are the number of stream processors as stated in the origional post.
Im more curious as to _when_ this will be available for everyone to start folding with.

The 8800 GTS has 96 or 112 stream processors, the 8800 GT has 112 of them.
I think this is an indication of the PPD in which case I'm not happy...
8800GT has 112 SPs and a shader clock of 1500 MHz.Elvellon wrote: [...]

Thanks... I so misinterpreted that list... makes sense now.Vicotnik wrote:8800GT has 112 SPs and a shader clock of 1500 MHz.Elvellon wrote: [...]

112 x 1.5 = 168
The list is compiled by Elvellon and shows the theoretical performance of the different nVidia cards in reference to the other cards. Best thing we have until real benchmarks can be made I suppose.
