How silent would this be?
and whats it like for game playing for DOOM 3 and CSS?

Since it has no fan, I'd say it would be pretty silent.
You'll need to google to see if there are any benchmarks for those games.

That would not run very well on either of those games. Maybe CCS if you jack the settings down really low, but then at that point you'd be better off with CS1.6

btw i dont wanna spead over £60 really on a agp unless it really worth the extra....

You should be able to get a Geforce7 series AGP on that budget. However, go mow lawns, have a garage sale, put in an extra day at work, etc so you afford a little more.

^ Agreed. Spend a bit more now and not only will you have a better gaming experience, but once you upgrade your system and move to PCI-E you'll have a decent cpu/mobo/vid combo for a HTPC or second gaming rig(if you go to lans or something, you can cram it into a real small/light weight case). I'd save up a bit more and get a 7600GS. Its probably your best bet for mainstream graphics for the price... and it does 1080i out over component output for your future hdtv

ok...
just doing exams and prezy for doing well is a new PC of my building and chosing
So which that:
7600GS
is that "silnet" or will i need a 3rd party cooler?
