monitor pc not responding

pleased advised my pc before i change the video card was not reponding on the monitor it showing off no signal and when i change my video card from gigabyte geforce 6200 256mb to gigabyte geforce 7600 gs 512mb my system was automatically shutting off and last few days it crash. what is the usual cause of this problem? is there anything to do in regards with the vga cards or it was cause by the motherboard? pleased advised

Hello,

Unfortunately, this could be just about anything causing the crashes. Do you have any errors in the Device Manager? Have you tested the RAM? (I would recommend this -- use Ultimate Boot CD and it's Prime95 test for this.)

Are you using a battery backup power unit? What are the temperatures of the CPU and the GPU?

hi,
i have already test the ram ddr2 1gb x 2 and its working, on device manager it has no error, do you mean of the back up battery supply is the one on the mother board, the temperature of the cpu is @ 40 to 60 c ranging on this the gpu is set to 60/140 c.
