Quality headphones, but with a mic

Post by antiatavist » Mon Dec 01, 2014 3:16 pm

I was wondering does anyone know of headphones of the same quality and price as Sennheiser HD 518 but also with a microphone?

So, open and circumaural.

The closest are Sennheiser PC 360 but they are a lot more expensive.

You can attach a microphone to your existing headphones.

I'm using a Moov Mic Boom microphone, it doesn't get to good reviews on amazon, the one I use is an older version, perhaps the build quality was better back then.
And if the bad ratings is a scare there are other products out there that achieve the same

I've attached them to my of Audio Technica ATH-AD700, and it works really good. It's easy to click out of sight when you're not using them, which is what I love most.

I can't buy any of that in my country.
Please refrain yourself from adding extraneous options to my question.

Well, then this discussion will be very short: what you're after doesn't exist.

Antilion Mod Mic ships world wide, and its a very god solution to use whatever heaphones you like.

Check also the following thread, Headfi Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide, its a very good resource for searching for heaphones and solutions for different setups.

ALL headset with mic are more expensive than headphones without it, even from the same manufacturer.
Another good resource to find the right headset.

What exactly does is effectively mean when a headset has virtual surround sound, for example between Sennheiser PC 363D and PC 360?
