23-24" LCD Monitor - Help :)

During the holiday shopping season, I’ve decided to purchase a new monitor. I’ve been looking for two days now and I really could use some guidance.

After having noise problems with the Dell U24xx models and reading the threads on it here, I eventually settled on a Dell P2412H. Meets all the specs you have nominated including soundbar and is cheaper than the IPS models.

Screen seems perfect to me. Quiet, no ghosting, adjustable. Colours seem fine - much better than my old screen.

Dell U2412M. I've had mine since January, incredible picture. It's 1920 x 1200, not 1920 x 1080, and I prefer the former.
$40 more than P2412H at newegg. It does have the required 12 V output for the Soundbar.
Mine is set at 25% brightness and I've never heard any noise from it.

Thanks for the advice. I decided to go with the Dell U2412M. I hope it goes on sale during the holiday season.

Mats, can you tell which sound bar model you got? I'm looking at the AX510.
