ASUS GTX660 Fan Clicking?

Hello All,
I bought an ASUS GTX 660 DC2O a couple of months ago and was so impressed with the sound. Couldn't hear anything outside of the case and it performed beautifully. A couple of weeks ago though the front fan developed a hi-pitched clicking noise which is clearly audible outside of the case. I have a Nexus 120mm fan mounted on wire in front and below the card which is blowing at an angle towards the card at around 700rpm. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced this with an ASUS DC2 graphics card and if they had fixed it. Also people's thoughts on whether the nexus fan may be interfering and if it damaged the front fan on the card.
