Does anyone have a GTX 960?
Could anyone tell me what the distance between the mounting holes is please.
I have an old passive cooling case with heatpipes and I'd like to fit the GTX 960 as I think the case might be able to keep it cooled passively, but for that I need to know if my bracket for the heatpipes would fit it.
Thanks in advance for any kind soul that could answer my question.
I did try google but couldn't find any specs for the mounting holes for the 960.

My card has a short PCB, so I can't help.
Buy you can measure how many pixels sit between mounting holes on the pictures, and than calculate how many mm it is taking the PCI-E slot length as a reference.

I can't help, but at any rate it's very unlikely.

OK, thanks. I've tried to figure it out, mostly all the mounting holes are too wide for me. The only ones that might fit are the ones from the asus mini gtx 960 version. You don't have that one by any chance Dr Prozac?

I have a silentmaxx ST-P1 and the case manages to cool a 7850 passively (though barely).

I have this card: http://www.silentpcreview.com/article1439-page4.html
I also doubt it would work passively. I believe that the voltage regulators need extra cooling. Most of these cards are passive at idle and have software fan control. Mine unfortunately has a problem with going over 78 deg C (normally it should be able to manage higher temps). I've described it in a separate topic.
A quick, rough measurement without removing the card: 65 mm between the outer boarders of the holes in the backplate.

Thank you for the measurement. I guess getting a semi-passive card makes the most sense then, It will be a silent system except for gaming, where noise won't be that high nor disturbing anyway.
I wish heatpipe towers were more commonplace.
