can anyone recommend an additional review site which focusses on monitor reviews? I am looking for some additional opinions before purchase. Thanks a lot!

It's too bad they no longer translate their reviews to english. But since you are from Germany I assume you won't have that problem.

FlatpanelsHD (Denmark, but in English) has been going for many years too.
You can get PRAD in English as far as I can see, by clicking the Union Jack, here's the linky. Even reviews are also in English - I didn't read a lot, but I think it's not googlish[shudder].
TFT Central is probably the most serious with very thorough testing.

Union Jack at PRAD only shows old reviews...
