9600 pro vs 9800 non pro heat output

Does anyone have any idea what the watt output under idle and load for these two cards are? I have a cunning plan that would involve not using the onboard fan at all, but am not sure my solution would be quiet enough to cool a 9800 (non pro, mind you).

Good question that I am anxiously watching this thread for as well. I think the 9800 non pro would be awesome for the price, but if it can't be silenced without voiding the warranty I'll go for the 9600 pro from sapphire w/heatpipe.
