Welcome to SPCR.

This thread might be useful if you want to look at reviews. If not, the MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6GB is a decent choice.

Hi there, and thank you.

I have already gone through that thread and have also read plenty of reviews. I was hoping more for peoples own individual experiences and maybe even a definitive answer as to which is the quietest card overall.

I have heard good things about the MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6GB. Only thing is, I really hate the way that card looks, ha ha...

Nah, I want a build that is aesthetically pleasing, and intend on getting a windowed case...

Asus Strix 1060. It is very silent. It is a long video card. It is important very if it fits in your case.

Side note: something can be very quiet - but silence is absolute. Saying it is "very silent" is like saying something very medium, or extremely normal.

Something that happens nine days out of ten is extremely normal. Something that happens only every other day is very normal. :P

I apologize by the use of incorrect terms. The Asus Strix 1060 is silent up to 63 deg (fans deactivated). C. After that, the fans will run.
