Nvidia 790i Ultra chipset cooling

Hi all
I'm investigating the possibility of implementing a quiet water cooling system just to cool my motherboard chipset.
I've got excellent CPU cooling and good airflow through the case.. my two GPU's rarely ramp up their fan speed (basically when playing Crysis).
The problem is after 30mins of playing the aforementioned game, the computer will generally freeze (no pun intended!).
On reseting the machine and inspecting the bios hardware readings... the Northbridge temperate reads 80C or more (currently set to 1.44v for Prime Stability).
The board chipset is a Fusion system with 3/8 connectors...
Any ideas?
