mobile athlon xp 1500/1800

There are a couple of online retailers in the UK selling mobile athlon xps (1500 and 1800) for £20 - £30.

I know that the newer mobile Barton's work on normal motherboards, but I'm not sure about these older mobile xps.

So, does anyone know about the mobile athlon xp 1500/1800:

a) If they work at all on normal/desktop athlon motherboards.

b) If their power saving features can be used on normal/desktop athlon motherboards (or are there any desktop motherbaords which can use the power saving features of these chips).
