High quality 12V 150W AC adapter?

Post by sahziw » Tue Oct 11, 2016 8:13 am

I'm searching for a quality AC adapter to be used with a PicoPSU 150 XT. My requirements are that the AC adapter is safe and reliable, fanless and completely silent, no buzzing, high pitch whining or other annoying sounds.

I have found an adapter named FSP150-AHBN1:

https://linitx.com/product/fsp-12v-125a ... jack/12342

I don't know if this fulfill my requirements and I'm unable to find FSP150-AHBN1 listed on the FSP site, which I find strange:

Can anyone recommend an AC adapter? or have some information about FSP150-AHBN1?

It's likely a previous version of the current FSP150-AHBN2.
I guess you may contact their support at the advertised FSP mail address.

there are a few http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=fsp+12v+12.5a adapters on eBay but I am not sure about the pinout. Also see http://www.ebay.com/itm/MicroBattery-MB ... SwPCVX~JoZ claims to be 4 pin. Not sure what's the difference between AHAN1 and AHNB1.

FSP is my go to good quality at affordable price. If you really want to push to high quality look into Meanwell.
