Nofan CR-80EH : smaller, cheaper fanless from Nofan

Post by IanM » Fri Nov 08, 2013 8:07 am

  • 80W cooling
  • 155mm diameter
  • 113mm tall
News reports at FanlessTech and TechPowerUp. Nofan website (but they don't have the new cooler shown yet.)

I really want one of these! Nofans big coolers look awesome but they're just too much to fit any cases I own. This new one can work in µATX and maybe even mini-ITX with an ideally placed cpu socket :)

At 113mm tall, maybe this would be a good alternative to the discontinued Ninja Mini?

I guess no: if an enclosure offers just about 115mm of height clearance over the CPU socket, more probably that not it won't offer 155mm of width clearance around the keep-out zone.
