It's doing quite well too, 275FSB with stock voltage and a Thermalright XP-120 + Coolermaster 120mm. Prime95 stable @ 35C load. :D

Hello everyone :) . Here is some socket 940 love, interesting results...

Specs in the SS are prime stable on water, CPU is volt limited to ~2920mhz on 1.4v.

Hello,

I'm going to need to confirm this, but I have a client's machine next to me that CPU-Z says is running at 2gHz with just 0.992volts!!! Is this even possible?

It's Socket 754 Athlon 64 3000+ on an Epox 8NPA SLi motherboard, FWIW. I'll check to see if it works with the AMD reporting software...but the latest CPU driver definitely makes it unstable... :?

...it's too old to support the TCP Max Temp...and that program reports 1.5v, which is the stock voltage...hmmm

I don't have the code for the CPU to hand and I certainly don't have the time to remove my heatsink to take a look!

Very nice 3500+ you guys have there. Can it be said that new (06XX) E6 (ADA3X00DAA4BW) AMD Athlonâ„¢ 64 CPUs are all 32.4W? Or is there still a possibility of 38.2W?

Posting the full stepping/code (on the IHS) of your 32.4W CPU would be informative. :)

Found this thread describing how to get TCaseMax when using linux. I had to be root to get the correct value because of access rights.

Code:
echo TCaseMax: $[((0x$(setpci -d 1022:1103 0xe4.L)>>25)&0xf)*2+49] C

3000+, 939, DH8-E3, 57C, 44.1W
