um... the 1000 is the earlier amp....the 1100 replaced it and is the only one listed at Scythe's website.

Hello,
Thank you for shopping with us. Unfortunately this item is out of stock.
The item is End Of Life. Discontinued.
Your order has been cancelled.
Full Refund.
If you want to know whether it is discontinued, you should contact Scythe. Retailers are notorious for stating that something is discontinued just because they choose to no longer stock it.

That's what I thought initially but the old one is: SDA-1000 the new one seems to be SDA35-1000.
Newegg pics of the old one: SDA-1000
TNT pics: SDA-1000

The SDA35-1000 seems to look a bit different:
Youtube SDA35-1000
Ebay SDA35-1000
PlatinumM:SDA35-1000

Am I wrong? the model number on the case itself says SDA35-1000,the connector layout in the back is different and the guy on Youtube said it's new.
Either way the specs are same as the SDA-1100 so I ordered from PM seems to be best price.

I noticed many many times the manufacturers sites don't always list the latest products they have.

Ok - we've strayed far from the original topic. Let's end the scythe shopping tour. :D
