Hi all
So i am going to get a 4TB WD but i dont know which drive is best the greens or the reds.
I dont have a NAS just a PC with lots a hardrives in there and acts as a server.
can anyone help of give me some info on what drives ok. I have a couple of WD 3TB greens but i can not seem to find any reviews of the 4TB greens just the reds.

5TB drives are coming: you'd better to wait a while, you'll gain either better prices or more capacity.
At any rate, IMHO as for your needs there's no actual difference between Greens and Reds, just WD Reds are higher rated for reliability/longevity (BUT in a NAS environment): and take a look at latest SPCR review on Seagate 4TB NAS drives.
