Interesting cubes from Thermaltake for high performance PCs

Parts clearance seems very good, they are stackable for high end watercooling, and offer a meshed front panel for supposedly better airflow: getting rid of their stock fans, they might turn out as interesting for some high performance rig.

I mostly agree with you, Mike: on the other hand, those enclosures don't seem aimed at squeezing any dimensional requirement, but at throwing in a "terrific" amount of radiators (that's why I wrote «interesting for some high performance rig»).

Let's not forget it is Thermaltake so silence is unlikely to have been an objective. Many, many bright lights in those pictures.

Since you are talking about the Thermaltake "cubes",
What do you think of the smaller Core V1? (for a small config i5-4460, HD4600, no discrete card, 1 SSD, 1 2.5" HDD)

I have bad memories of the airflow "noise" from the big fan in my TJ08-E. Here it's a 200mm.
But I like the separation in chamber, like the Bitfenix cases.

When I looked through these cube cases with a front intake fan, they all seem to have a common weakness: not a lot of breathing room at the GPU side and the intake fan is centred on the CPU, rather than offset to the GPU side.

I just finished building my latest rig with the Core V1. Really great for my components (no GPU).
The front fan is much more silent, compare to the big one in my old Temjin.
Enough airflow with just the input and an AR-02 on my i5-4590.

Still have to change my old HDD 7200rpm that I reused for storage (addition to the new SSD). It's the noisiest part (when it spins).
