hi,

yeah a chunk of it is the cooler, as i use gainward expert tool to turn the fan down and the noise is reduced a lot.

but the remainder is plain air noise that i cant hear with my ear against the fans so i'm going to work round them as described earlier.

hi,

with that hack make sure u dont actually go into fan control cos it seems to override it all back to 50% when you exit, even if yoiu make the file read only, unless i've done something else wrong.

hi, have nexus 120mm fans front/back, psu (enermax noisetaker) has 80mm by the looks on low settings. aside from the gfx card, which is nigh on silent if i use gainward expert tool and alter the min speed on 2d to 30 (aside from a bit of fan whine), all the noise is definately air. hi, slight change, had some paxmate delivered , which has been added to the case but has confused me some what. The base of the noise appears to be the cooler on my chaintech 6800 gfx card but the overall sound is not that, it seems a mixture. Shoved me head inside the case before i put the side on ...

Red snapper : dont think ui've got the grommets sorted properly as that drive seems noisier than the other one.

No wonder i was having problems with the "drive" rails have to sort them now :).
