hi,
yeah a chunk of it is the cooler, as i use gainward expert tool to turn the fan down and the noise is reduced a lot.
but the remainder is plain air noise that i cant hear with my ear against the fans so i'm going to work round them as described earlier.

hi, have nexus 120mm fans front/back, psu (enermax noisetaker) has 80mm by the looks on low settings. aside from the gfx card, which is nigh on silent if i use gainward expert tool and alter the min speed on 2d to 30 (aside from a bit of fan whine), all the noise is definately air. hi, slight change, had some paxmate delivered , which has been added to the case but has confused me some what. The base of the noise appears to be the cooler on my chaintech 6800 gfx card but the overall sound is not that, it seems a mixture. Shoved me head inside the case before i put the side on ...

hi, tried to suspend my drive using flat wide elastics from a shop, but how do you go about securing the elastic before loading the hard drive ? tried with an old knackered drive first but came across 2 problems. 1) elastic seemed to loosen up when the drive was added 2) The drive tended to lean fro...

please recommend a fan controller
hi,
looking for a fan controller to fit in a slk3000b case, i have a zalman at the moment which doesnt seem to want to adjust the fans.
only few things, looking to control 4 3 pin fans, from 0v-12v, manual control no need for led/lcd display being as it will be behind a door.
thanks, mark........
