You can try to connect the fan to a motheboard 3pin chassis fan. I am curious though. You cannot control the 3pin fan connected to the motherboard 4pin using the bios, a motherboard utility, speedfan or something else? My bad axe 4 pin fan controller cannot control 3 pin fan. Re: Will I be able to undervolt the CPU?

The artificial limit of 1.1V is caused bu the CPU's not by the boards. The limit can not be caused by the CPU, since it is the board that applies the voltage to the chip. Sure, the chips may not like sub-1.1 voltages, but the chips themselves can't stop us from applying said voltages. it's caused b...

I doubt this theory, cause in reality I just out of limit.
I'm running CPU AMD64 4000+ @ 0.875V and VDimm at 2.6V (default). The different are 0.425V, more than 0.3V limit. It has been run for 6 months without any problem.

yeah, it's not 90nm die, but where is the exception?

The problem is not on motherboard but is on CPU itself. I have Clawhammer 4000+ on MSI Neo2 K8N, run on 0.9V 800Mhz perfectly. But when I plugged Venice 3000+ to this motherboard, it refuse to go below 1.1V. I think there is 'spec' to limit the min voltage.
