I'm guessing about 2 watts max on startup (at 0-100 rpm) with the Fanmate turned up to maximum. At minimum, you can expect the power draw to be less than 1 watt for both fans combined. You could add more to that Fanmate and still be safe...as long as power draw is less or equal to .50 amp / 6 watts...

well, I'm running a 92mm low rpm (1400rpm) nmb on the rear, and a tt slow rpm on the cpu (2000rpm) also a 92mm fan I guess they should be under 6w right ? what do low rpm 92mm fans run ? (I'm talking about watts lol)

I really think 2GB RAM is overrated even for people who think they need it. Run good low memory AV (Kaspersky), manually run your scans, stop unnecessary tray icons, kill services you don't need, etc. You're better off with 1GB low latency DDR800 RAM IMO. 8) dude, av plus anti spyware, plus a coupl...

As far as i know there is no "contract", it just so happens that seasonic makes thew most quiet PSUs. There might be others out there that are quieter, but it is impossible to recommend anything that you can't directly compare with the competition. Comparing different review sites noise recordings ...

Hello, The SeaSonic S12 430 would be a fine choice, with more than enough power. You could save a little money and go with DDR2-533 RAM? well, I want some oc headroom on the ram, and according to anandtech this transcend ddr 667 ram @ 2.2v should do atleast ddr900, also whats your take on the antec...

Best psu under 100$ ?

In the near future (about a couple of weeks) ill be building a system around these components : e6300 2gb ddr 667 250gb hdd 7600gs gigabyte s3 now I need a psu....dont really care about brand, just need something reliable that is quiet...and preferably under 100$...was thinking about a seasonic 430w...

personally id recomend the antec tri-cools, I have one set on low, I think it spins @ around 1500rpm, pretty quiet, not gonna be a silent solution, like a nexus on 7v, but still, has the bling and is actually decent.

You might be able to use a VF900 passive on it, most 7600GS cards have a pretty small stock heatsink that runs passive. Is it an AGP card? no, its pci-e, btw I was looking around and just ordered the vf900...newegg had it for just over 30$....stock coler is like 1/4 of the size of this....so lets s...

its about the size of a regular mid tower case, airflow isnt that great, using a 120mm fan @ 800rpm in the front, and 80mm in the rear @ 2k rpm, probably gonna upgrade the rear to a 92mm nexus...anyhow thats it....anything quieter than the zalman ? i guess it would already be alot better than the cu...

well, I got it a while ago, decided it was worth posting about....well it def kills the TT silent 939...running @ 1200rpm cools my venice 3200+ @ 2.4ghz @ 1.375v @ 52c max load folding...seems good as I dont have any case cooling...exept for psu fan, and rear exaust @ 800rpm, no intake or any additi...
