thanks any guesses as to which would be quieter - either a tornado stock, or a SS modified with an L1A(i have one lying around, a japanaflo, too) the tornado is 20 more AR, or 10 right away at the same wattage the 350watter has the exact same stats, except one more A on the 12V line, yet costs 20 more

Well, based on everyones responses, and other threads on the forum, as well as the recommended list, I've decided to go with a Seasonic, either super tornado, or super silencer series. Quick system listing: antec 3700bqe A64 3400+ w/ xp-120 w/ antec 1.2A case fan @ 5v MSI Neo Platinum 1024 (2x512) p...

that amd link was helpful, and so was the xbitlabs article, but that still doesnt tell me how much amperage my card will take, just watts, which im not worried about. 370 watts is plenty for what i need, im just not sure if the individual rails are enough because nvidia recommends 18A on the 12V rai...

Dual 12V Rail question
I've tried searching but I can't quite find my answer. Say, the enermax, at 370watts, has 14v and 13v on two 12v rails How does this add up? I have a 3400+ Athlon 64, 6800 GT, 1gb ram, etc (standard stuff, one hard drive, dvd burner, sound card) I was told that this would need 18-20V on a good power...

Please help, buzz coil noise / high pitched noise with mobo
Hey guys, Just recently I upgraded my SLK-948U / panaflo 80mm L1A to a XP-120 / yate loom medium speed combo, along with upgrading my nv silencer 5 on my 6800 ultra to a vf700. Everything has worked out great for me, and seems to be much quieter, but in doing so, I think I've uncovered something els...

I have two D12SM-12's - one in my power supply, one rear exhaust, and these things at 12V are definitely more than 30dB... at 5V they're not too bad, very little bearing noise, but they still move a fair bit of air. At 12v, they move a ton of air. It was a great substitute for the stock D12BH-12 LED...
