No, it never worked. But I only got the board on Friday, installed Windows on Sunday, set it up, no sleep...

I think I have tried every BIOS-Windows combination, but nothing changes.

Another thing that could possibly affect this is WMP sharing, that I set. But my Vista laptop sleeps OK.

I have a similar(?) problem that I haven't figured out, with the same board. When I try to put it to S3 sleep, it sleeps and immediately restarts. OS is Vista. I also have manual settings on everything, to the rated speeds and voltages. It's connected to a TV through HDMI, could this have something ...

Eizo 2431W
Eizo L767 19" (2 samples)
Eizo L557 17"

All dead silent at 100% and at 15-20% where they are set.

Strange about saperaude's Samsung 245B. I have one and I haven't noticed any noise. I'll check again.

Edit: Yes, there's a faint whine at 25% brightness, less at 100%.

Karel, when I installed the RTMs behind the CPU, I didn't notice much of a difference (2 degrees Celsius, if memory serves me right), but it was a ~75W one. I believe that putting them behind the CPU also allows a more even pressure without the board flexing at all. I did notice a more significant d...

Karel, great WS! A few questions: It is well documented in SPCR's copper Ninja review that pressure makes a difference in temps. Is the CPU HS tight enough? Did you put new thermal paste between the CPU block heatpipes? I cleaned them and used AS5 when I rebuilt mine. Did you use the rear thermal bl...

I like the case a lot, but I know it is very expensive. The question is: is it worth it?. Is it so much silent that a solo with a ninja and a good rear 120 mm-600 rpm fan, a suspended hard drive and fanless video card?. I cannot compare, since I don't have solo nor p182 with ninja here. I've bought...

I always had HSFs blowing down to the board. My trusty SI-120 was recently replaced with the copper Ninja. So, I did this: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2024/2271092100_68bf0c7e08.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2036/2260684920_4eb889caac.jpg The fan is at an angle, blowing to the Ninja and to t...

I hate the process of returning things, not the annoyance to them, so I would reglue. I could NEVER leave it like that, especially if new. :D PS. And this is the reason why, if available, I buy locally, even though it's more expensive. If something is wrong, I just return it in my car. I hate losing...

95% RAM voltage, 5% something else.

XMS2 4GB kit need at least 1.9 volts (from Corsair). I would give it 2.0 volts.

Everything else looks great. Why get upset for a known extremely efficient and cool CPU?

OK, you didn't write which processor you have, but we now know that you have an E8400! They report wrong idle temps on most boards. Search E8400 temps on Google! Idle is always 41c. M/B temp is definitely OK, CPU temp is 99% OK. What RAM do you have? Maybe it needs a little bump for everything to run.

PretzelB, what about core temps? Not reported? Is this Speedfan 4.33? Do you have BIOS version 14? Which processor do you have? Too many questions! Edit: I found a program for you to get proper readings. PC Wizard 2008 reads everything properly, except CPU (area), that reads low. With this you...

OK, I just installed uGuru and it works properly. CPU temp is not correct, but it shows the same on XP. I use Speedfan, but you have to add +13c to Temp1 (board), +25c to Temp2 (CPU area) in Configure -> Advanced -> Winbond. Core temps need +15c in Configure -> Advanced -> Intel Core. I found these ...

Actually, -5F at 40mph is -36F = -38C.

When I ride my bike at temps around 0C, I think I'm going to die, when I ski or snowboard at -5 or -10C I feel OK, since I do move quite a bit.
