Well, I'm using the thermalright si-97 to cool my undervolted athlon xp mobile (1.1V, 1.6GHz.) The system runns completely fanless 24/7 :) Full load temp after an hour is about 68 degrees celsius according to the motherboard, abit nf7-s v2. Kind of high, but works for me. So my recommendation is the...

The nesteqs were sold out at the store (small store, small stock, they seem to only carry one of each of these obscure products in stock at a time). Swithed it to a fanless silverstone nightjar which is quiet enough for my needs :) If I put my ear next to its case I can hear a faint whine, but as so...

I just bought and installed a nesteq 450W (NA-4501) and the fan hasn't kicked in yet, but still I can hear lots of noise (probably coil whine ?). I suppose it shouldn't be like this and I haven't found anyone else having this problem, so I will return it to the shop for an exchange. I'll keep you po...

According to this source http://www.hardwareluxx.de/cms/artikel.php?action=show&id=126&seite=5 a system with a 6600GT (Gigabyte NX66T128D ) draws ~221 Watts under load. The same system equipped with 6600 (Gigabyte NX66128D) draws 196 Watts. So difference under load is ~25W. During idle the differenc...

hmmm it seems like the price difference between 6600 dual dvi and 6000GT dual dvi isn't that big (about $25 in Sweden). Is it possible to underclock the 6000GT to 300MHz or even less? It would be nice to know that I have the extra processing power if I need it in the future.

AFAIK the asus line of 6600-cards have their own component layout. But it should be possible to mount the zalman zm80d on a card that follows the nvidia reference layout, like leadtek 6600. Here the zm80d is mounted on a leadtek 6600GT (leadtek 6600 uses the same layout) http://forums.hardwarezone.c...

well, if I have to modify the stock cooling solution i could just get a fan cooled 6600 AGP dual dvi and slap on a passive zalman ZM80D-HP. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to modify the cooling on my new card... guess thats not possible.

I'm currently looking for a fanless nvidia 6600 AGP graphics card with dual DVI. I haven't found any yet... does anyone know if such a card exists?
