The system runns completely fanless 24/7 :) Full load temp after an hour is about 68 degrees celsius according to the motherboard, abit nf7-s v2. Kind of high, but works for me. The nesteqs were sold out at the store (small store, small stock, they seem to only carry one of each of these obscure products in stock at a time). I suppose it shouldn't be like this and I haven't found anyone else having this problem, so I will return it to the shop for an exchange. I'll keep you po...

According to this source http://www.hardwareluxx.de/cms/artikel.php?action=show&id=126&seite=5 a system with a 6600GT (Gigabyte NX66T128D ) draws ~221 Watts under load. The same system equipped with 6600 (Gigabyte NX66128D) draws 196 Watts. So difference under load is ~25W. During idle the differenc...

AFAIK the asus line of 6600-cards have their own component layout. But it should be possible to mount the zalman zm80d on a card that follows the nvidia reference layout, like leadtek 6600. Here the zm80d is mounted on a leadtek 6600GT (leadtek 6600 uses the same layout) http://forums.hardwarezone.c...
