I think Im going to try depressurizing it with a vacuum cleaner. Im also going to try closing it again with thermal epoxy or plumbing solder. The pipe still seems to be working for the first half since it warms up nicely. I don't have time to buy a new cooler, since I need to pack it up and return ...

Are there any places that sell the VM-102 or Polar Freezer in the United States? VM-102 avaliable seems to be extremely limited and finding a information on the Polar Freezer is difficult via Google. VM-102 won't be sold in US due to patent issues. I got mine on eBay, works well on my EVGA overcloc...

Hey i was wondering how you installed your VM-102, ive got one now and im getting quite high temps even with active cooling, did you use quite alot of thermal paist on the groves in the bottom bit and the GPU block? Yeah, I loaded up the grooves with the paste they sent. I had AS5, but couldn't fin...

I hope the Aerocool VM-102 will be available in the US by the time I upgrade to AM2 or Conroe. I would like to have a passively cooled PC using my Centurion 532 with only 1 intake fan, 1 exhaust fan, and my Seasonic S12. It won't. Apparently there are some patent issues that won't let Aerocool sell...

They can't sell the VM-102 because of patent issues (at least according to the US branch of Aerocool).Thomas wrote:If I go to the states with these, will you buy me a cup of coffee?
Check this: http://www.aerocool.us/where.htm
I found one on eBay for a decent price shipped from Germany.
Thanks,

The VM-102 is rated to dissipate 70W, which is more than the rated power output of both the 7600GT and the 7900GT. In a case with decent airflow, the VM-102 should be able to handle the 7900GT without adding fans. At least, that's what I'm going to try if I can get my hands on a VM-102. They aren't ...

IMO, it's because it's very hard to find it in US. I have one, but i wait for the 7900GTs to appear in stocks. Yes, I got this response when I inquired as to US availability: Hi Kevin, VM102 will not be introduced to the US market due to a few unresolved patent issues. Have a good day. Best Regards...

Re: RAID 0, Failure
Having two drives does NOT double your chances of failure. Statistics doesn't work that way. It's an average, not an addition. If your chance of failure is 1%, and you have 100 drives, does your chance go up to 100%? Or course not. If you make two bets on red in roulette, is the chance of winning 1...

Just to clear up a little misinformation... The nforce4 does NOT do Dolby Digital encoding. The chipset that does this is the nforce2 with SoundStorm. Dolby Digital encoding means taking multichannel non-Dolby audio (games, etc...) and turning it into a DD stream that you can send to a receiver with...
