Surely you don't need two fans in the door... I think those two fans are for the WC radiator. Edit: Just realized the watercooling fans are only 92mm. Nevermind-that's f&%*!@ stupid. Hrmmm? It says 12x12 next to the thumbnail of the radiator: Cooling system: Dual 1300 rpm, 12 x12 x2.5 cm fans, 17dBA

I did manage to run the tortue test for about 5 hours and it was passing everything. I still haven't had a chance to run memtest for an extended period. clarkkent333 and teapot: I am using a WD diag utility which tracks/logs all the SMART values, and the machine has an A64 3000+ Venice. MiKeLezZ: it...

My first WC system was a PITA! I used 1/2" OD tubing, it wasn't quiet, and the tubes were so thick I didn't have room for anything. And it smelled slightly of coolant (the system was not airtight, I drilled holes in the lid of a jug for my reservoir) Now I have everything in a Yeong Yang YY-0221 cub...

Hrmmm I have twin WD2500KS as well, but have not noticed a whine. In fact, last night I went to sleep but 5' away from them whilst downloading all night. The only noise I heard was the access noises like the churning... but I don't have them in a closed case at the moment, they are completely open. ...

YES! You are not alone: http://forums.silentpcreview.com/viewtopic.php?t=23797&highlight= (no help there, 0 replies :( ) I emailed Antec asking for a replacement fan, they said RMA it... but I've already voided the warranty, so hey. Was going to try replacing the fan with a quiet 80x80x25 and keepin...

This is really interesting... I've outlined some of the issues with my system in this thread: http://forums.silentpcreview.com/viewtopic.php?p=201335#201335 I really don't know if the PSU is to blame, which is why I was looking into the Seasonics... but my problems all occur during full load in hard...

Thanks guys for the ideas, but I've run memtest and prime95 for 30+minutes and 90+minutes respectively with no errors. I've even run rthdribl for 30+minutes. All my temps stay stable, too... like 40C full load on the CPU when ambient is 35C, and roughly 50C max on the GPU. One thing I should mention...

You sure you want to use a 5" LCD as your display? Hmmm... Oh heh, not sure if you were kidding, but it's a secondary display. It runs my temperature stats and such through samurize. I just wanted to mention that it was being powered by the PSU along with everything else. Phantom > Seasonic because...

Seasonic S12: King o'the 500-600W SLi "quiet" PSU?
As mentioned in other threads, I'm looking to troubleshoot stability issues on my recently built system with a PSU that offers higher amperage on the 12v rails. My goal with this current machine was always quiet operation, but I haven't found a 500-ish watt PSU that is known for quiet operation, and...

Anything ever happen with this? I'm currently experiencing stability issues and suspecting that my Antec Phantom 500 is not happy providing power for my system. The #s from the turbo cool 510 express/SLI are making it a very tempting buy, but I don't know if I can tolerate the noise. Since my case i...

Antec Phantom 500 fan noise (not air noise) :(
Just put together a new system this weekend and as I was installing the OS I heard a noise that sounded like a very distant table/radial arm saw chopping through 2x4s. I figured someone was woodworking... After a while I realized it was my system. Turns out it's a very shrill noise coming from the "...
