I personally have two of these, and I love them. They mount the HD's via soft rubber gromits, which helps on the noise. It also comes with both firewire & USB, squashing that whole compatability problem.
(Plus, I think it looks nice.)

Nice case! Too bad I just bought a 3700bqe a few months ago... I agree with the person who said it was ugly though. I mean, if they were able to provide you with white cd/dvd covers, then why not just 1.) make them silver, and 2.) extend the covers out a little so that they can be flush with the bez...

Very well, thank you. I have the "Deluxe" version, and it undervolts quite nicely. I also like all the extras that come with the motherboard. It came with a couple of SATA cables, SATA power cables, and black IDE/Floppy cables (as seen in the photo, one floppy, 3 IDE). It also came with a few free a...

From the bios :) It's still all strange to me, as I used to be an overclocker. I got this rig to 2.65 at one time... 1.52v... then again my noise level was outragous and my temps at least 15 degrees higher... lol. More pics: http://img325.imageshack.us/img325/5062/bios9bl.jpg And here you ca...

WIP Video Editing Rig (3700BQE w/ undervolted A64)
I actually built this in Feburary, but only recently began modifying it for quietness. http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/223/caseritter19xz.jpg Specs: SLK3700BQE (w/ grills cut, front drive bay removed, and front holes taped up) TruePower 330 (w/ grills removed) Athlon 64 3200 Winchester @ 1.10v Za...

Okay, I used to use a 350w PSU that came with my BQE, but the PSU died on me (okay i admit it, I killed it), so now I'm using a Antec True Power 330. Re: The Top SPCR Quiet 120mm Axial Fans Compared + 120mmAC F
The Nexus "Real Quiet Fans" are astounding fans in the 80mm, 92mm, and 120mm categories. They work flawlessly on PWM and undervolt on DC fairly well considering their low 12V CFM. The only potential negatives about the 1200mm is its orange color , its lower 12V CFM numbers (not an issue at all for ...

Sunbeam Rubber Fan screws?
http://www.jab-tech.com/customer/product.php?productid=3004&cat=41&page=1 Do these do any good? The price looks good, and I was about to buy them, but just wanted to check with SPCR first. The site doesn't give any spec's on how hard the rubber is and I read some where on SPCR that rubber isolators ...

Clean if anything. I'm thinking those HDs must make a racket, at least the old WD. Both of the drives are suspended with elastic cord. Could you take some closeups of that for me? (I'm currently trying to suspend my HD is my 3700, but can't seem to do it without my HD banging the sides of the cage)...
