Re: What's wrong with the stacker from a silence standpoint
I have one of the previous Stackers. - but it's not a quiet case. I'm glad mine is in the server room - I wouldn't want it in the room I'm working in. What's wrong with the stacker from a silence standpoint ? I was considering this case for a future PC. I have put a stacker HD module in my Chieftec...

Thanks for your comments! After looking around some more and a discussion with peterson here I think... :? ...that I'll go with the Stacker because of the flexibility (BTX and overall). I'll do some serious modding to it though (duct and others), and buy a few kits of AccoustiPacks to dampen the noi...

If you're having 4 HDDs, it may justify a 4in3 module, otherwise not. The stacker is so big and there's plenty of room to have the HDDs in elastic cord. I can show you some pics later, but not today. ( i'm turning 40 today ) The bottom hole of the Stacker is about 90mm wide, so it will obstruct a 1...

Ahh, finally someone with a Stacker that I can ask questions :D I'm wondering how much space there is around the PSU in the lower bay? I want to know if I can put a Seasonic with a vertical fan in there AND build a duct around it to the front of the case (as in my thread here ). I'd be really grate...

I've decided to ditch the upsidedown mount. The GPU gets a bit warmer this way, around 5-6°C and i don't gain that much elsewhere. And i'll try Aleksis thought on moving the PSU back above the Ninja. Perhaps there's room to mount the fan outside the PSU just sandwiched between the PSU and Ninja. :)...

Silencing a Coolermaster Stacker... or buying a P180...
Hi! I'm looking to build a new (quiet) overclocked gaming system this coming autumn, and I need some help and advice... I know that I have to compromise on the noise levels if I want a powerful setup, but I've become very noise-concious lately, since my current rig is driving me mad, MAAAAAD I TELL ...
