How's your card so far? I'm planning on purchasing the Hawk and plan to install the Acc. S1 R2 following your provision above. Did you find a pwm fan for it or are you still using it passively? Wayne, how's your Gelid fan holding up? Still quietly spinning? I'm thinking of trying a set in a mini P180. What are you using for case fans?

You cant control tricools because they already have a fanspeed controller. Aren't the tricools' control just a variable resistor? So that you could leave them on high speed, and do voltage control separately? In any case, I use a Scythe Kaze Master, am quite happy with it: http://www.newegg.com/Pro...

ascl, would you consider the ap15 @ 800rpm inaudible? If you have other fans to compare them to at the same rpm that would probably give the best noise estimate.
