It's actually not my rig. I wish. :D I saw the setup and was wondering what kind of power it'll draw. I think he's got a RAID card, too, but not sure. How do you calculate power for RAID?

Those sticks supposedly utilize Micron ICs, so they're very flexible and versatile. By that I mean the memory is very tolarent to various configurations. (although it depends on how G-Skill programmed the SPD) One thing to keep in mind is that for overclocking on Intel playform, you cannot *divide &...

New 1407 BIOS allows me to run FSB:Memory=4:5 @400FSB, which translates to DDR2-1000/4-4-3-9. You will need to give close to max VDIMM so I just say stay with DDR2-800 (1:1). If you haven't flashed, I'd recommend it strongly. Although considering such a tiny performance improvement and required volt...

Why mount a fan then block it with HDDs? Exactly my first thought when I saw this case. To cool HDDs? Yeah. Isn't that obvious? I thought so. If anyone every attempted water setup on P180, they'd know the pain that comes with it. This case looks vastly superior. Plus the removable motherboar...

It makes me think the 2 PSUs are not the same class, but one for the main system and one for the GPU.

*shakes head* ... Why Antec? Why?... It's not like the Case market is monopolized by Antec or anything. There are almost too many choices as it is. If you prefer P180 over P190, the choice for you is obvious and Antec is giving more choices. Personally I think Antec's latest offerings are so much b...

See, the dilemma is that I want a quiet system but at the same time a powerful system that'll let me enjoy what today's technology has to offer. For example I'd build a PIII 733MHz machine with passive everything for my dad. But it's a different story when the time for my upgrade comes. And I think ...

By no means I'm fond of the possible reality. I'd much prefer a quite system over loud system. But the forecast isn't too bright..

I'm not understanding some posts here. First, how do you know the use of heatpipe is marketing department's decision? Second, how do you know whether the heatpipe helps or not? We should wait for the reviews. Third, this is not the only PSU you're forced to buy. If anything, this is an addition to a...

Thank you for your input. So is the M12 what everyone is waiting for? I have an S12 and I've been quite satisfied with its performance and acoustics. How soon the M12 will be out?

Need a recommendation for best MODULAR PSU with LONG CABLES

Hello, Apparantely I'm not very good at searching so please excuse me if this has been discussed. In the past I was always skeptical about modular PSUs, but with more and more PSUs coming out from renowned vendors, I'd like to try one out in near future. I'd like the best one with at least 500W rait...
