Topic: Humming noise from Samsung 225BW monitor?

Just wanted to add another data point.

Had brightness at 21% and heard humming. Took me quite awhile before I identified that the sound comes from the 225BW.

The humming goes away at 100%. But that is too bright for my comfort.

Dull, did you get your display replaced under warranty last year?

Ooh, [NCIXus] has the anti-vibration frame version too, which Newegg did not seem to carry. Note: This one is only usable as an exhaust fan due to its construction. Good to know. anti-vibe model http://www.ncixus.com/products/24331/ACF12PWM/Arctic%20Cooling/ http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...

G0 / SLACR Q6600 drops to 95w TDP

I'd like to recommend a future update to this review with measurements of the VX, Model CL-P0310. The reviewed Model CL-P0114 is what I see in the stores around me in Atlanta, GA but since the difficult mounting system has been described in reviews for the past year or so, I would turn to mail-order...

Well, shazbat. I picked up a ST3200822A , 200GB 7200.7, at CompUSA's Black Friday sale at 1:30AM thank you very much. And it buzz-saws a (presumably) thermal calibration into my brain every couple minutes. Aaaaargh. A 120GB Seagate does the same thing but I chalked that up to be because I bought it ...

Thought I would follow up to report the PATA adapter from adapterz worked as does the Samsung 40GB from Newegg. The biggest headache was transferring form the old (and loud) 6GB to the new 40GB. Ghost 9.0 is dumbed down to only copy a partition at a time with the choice of the same size or all space...

Thank you for posting this question. I was wondering that too.

I could not find one of these adapters in Newegg's catalog to go along with a Samsung order. I just ordered an adapter from this place.
