Watercooling is pure awesomeness! Much better to have one 120mm fan and a quiet pump than two smaller fans IMO http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/yug3n/WCstuff.jpg MCP600 en route from Borgschulze ([H]ardForums) still need res, coolant, clamps, other doodads It's cool but it's definitely work. ...

JonnyGuru has his review up. Looks great except for the price: http://www.jonnyguru.com/ I actually bought one because my local Fry's only had the 700W version and it was "only" $189 (quite a bit cheaper than online, especially with shipping), and I decided to splurge on something that will probably...

Well, I wouldn't say it's obsolete but it never has been and never will be mainstream. However, I just decided to build my first water cooled machine ever here in a week or so. I debated it forever, because it really does seem like it will be a pain in the ***, but decided to go ahead and jump in be...

I think although yes, an ultra is thinner, one you add a fan onto it( im assuming you will, its not a passive-designed heatsink). Anyways once you add a fan, you're increasing the size and it might come awfully close like the ninja, im just saying, be wary. You're right, it would be close. Ninja is...

I'm seriously considering one of these. A question... Would an Ultra-120 fit in this? It looks like it would solve the clearance problem with the HD (even with a fan) since it's narrow, right? Height wise, it's like 1cm taller than the Ninja - is there that much extra clearance on your guys' where t...

You're forgetting that the DX10 cards due out are supposed to be ridiculous power hogs. A single card could conceivably be 200W+ according to the rumors. Pretty pathetic. Rumors stay rumors. Just measure the power draw on the wall for your XBOX 360 and that's about 160W according to CNET. That's 16...

I have to completely disagree with your comment on no one needing a 600w PSU. Dual core + CF/SLI + 3-4 HDs will require 600w pretty quickly. C2D is the hot overclocking chip of the moment, sub-100W for all except the most extreme OC; Crossfire X1900XTX =240W, 4 HDDs= 80W. Throw in ~25W for the mobo...

I wonder if the 25cm fan gets in the way of some of the taller HSFs? Looks like it may be useful though, you chould install e.g. a Ninja with airflow towards the back of the case. Then put a front intake 120mm and a rear exhaust 120mm fan, and then you'd have the 250mm monster to blow air down onto ...

Re: Trying to pick a micro ATX case, currently SG01 vs TJ08

My current setup is entirely fanless except for the 120MM case fans. There 4 of these, 1 of which is a 120MM Nexus, the rest are the default Anetec Tri-Cool that come with the case, on the medium setting. 5 hard drives including a 74GB Raptor. Now, the P180 is a big honking case, and I don't really...
