Is there a noticeable effect on noise transmission when dampening material is used on a panel with a case window? Unless the window is very small, I'm thinking since majority of the panel will not be covered (unless you put it over the window), the material's effect will be greatly diminished. Then ...

Is that on the top shelf of a regular closet? How does it do with heat buildup? Last time I put a computer in the closet, it kept my clothes toasty warm. But then again, my personal servers are always hand-me-downs from my main rig, with tons of smaller hard drives.

P180 from Newegg?

Has anyone here gotten their P180 from Newegg recently? I'm wondering if they have the new version as the P180 was on sale a couple weeks ago, and the P180B is now. Trying to decide whether its worth $100 to go back to using a case vs. having everything laid out open.
