Stretch magic = best. stuff. ever.
Plain and simple for the 3 bucks for 20 - 30 ft of the stuff, its the best bang for your buck. Suspend that hdd and just bout all the noise is gone. ALL my hdds in my comps are suspended. even the WD 320gb laptop hdd in my htpc.

The cd drive bay cover that comes with the GD05B is plastic, but they have a finish / laminate on it that looks just like the rest of the aluminum front, it actually surprised me when i took it out and discovered that it was plastic. The GD04B has a stealthed cd drive bay, dunno what its made out of...

my server that runs 24/7 i have undervolted. E4300 c2d 2x1gb ddr2 667 ECS G33T-M Hitachi P7K500 500gb hd Runs at its stock 1.8ghz but undervolted via a pad mod, idle @ 1.0125V load at 0.992 V ... loads round 45*C reported by coretemp cooled by an SI-120 with a custom socket 775 bolt through mounting...

ya i was really likin the fact i could get the fan for 6 bucks and change shipped at svc.... i emaild them to see if they were gonna get it back in. EDIT... ima try and grease up the bearings currently in the 80mm fan in the psu with some white lithium grease to see if that quiets it down. EDIT2 ......

A good quiet 80mm fan?
Ok guys i need a good quiet 80mm fan to replace the one in the psu in my server... I put a lower speed 80mm in its psu a while back and it was an old fan to begin with and its starting to get some bearing noise now so id like to replace.... so suggestions welcome! 25mm thick!

Out of curiosity, why did you tape off the side intake? Wouldn't having the side intake directly over the heatsink help cool your CPU since you are using a top-down heatsink? I am using an NSK4480 also, but with Ultima-90 tower heatsink. Taping off the side intake does help airflow a bit in my case...

Yup thats right Hank123 of ocforums.com with the help of my photos found a VERY easy pencil Vdroop mod.
