Sorry folks, I didn't have time until now to post my setup pic, but better sooner than later
So, here it is:
Oh, and my room temperature is about 22 C at the time of writing.

I cleaned the heatsink surfaces with acetone and tightened the heatsink base as tight as I could, being careful of course. Then I re-installed my Aerocool VM-102 heatsink and here's the results. GPU temperatures Idle: 48 C Load: 55 C (Tested with rthdribl) As you can see, changes are somewhat notice...

Now, this is interesting. Everest claims that my VGA card would be running at 53 degrees celsius whereas the NVIDIA tool claims the temperature to be 57-58 degrees. Tzupy, you're right. There is basically very little or no airflow through the heatsink itself.. I'm just wondering if a front fan would...

Yes, I have just the case exhaust fan running. Not sure though if the heatsink base is taking good contact with the GPU core as I just tested the heatsinks with my hand and they only seemed warm.. nothing close to hot. Should they feel warm or hot or something in-between? And yes, I had some trouble...

Aerocool VM-102 performance and conclusions
Okay, many of you probably know this fanless heatsink is proved to be one of the best, if not the best, of all the fanless cooling solutions available at the moment. And I can say this heatsink performs ridiculously well. My graphic card's idle temps were somewhere around 54 degrees celsius and 66-6...

Okay, after some googling I found the measures of the VM-102 heatsink. http://www.svethardware.cz/art_doc-D8743C2458C301DDC125707E004085F9.html So, 34 mm it says there in the picture for the height of the heatsink when measured from the "top" of the VGA card. I have about 45-50 mm space between the ...

Will Aerocool VM-102 fit into my system?
Hello, I'm really interested in buying this specific cooling product but I'm not sure whether it will fit into my system or not. This is because I have a Zalman CNPS7700-AlCu CPU cooler, which might be interfering with the other side of the Aerocool heatsink. I have attached a picture to show what I...

Thanks for the reply! Are there any other Finnish people in these forums, by the way? Really nice to see countrymen in here :) Okay, so Aerocool VM-102 seems really interesting and I think I'm going to order it. Best of all, it can be found from Only4pro.com for 34,40 euros here in Finland 8) The on...

Cooling down my Leadtek GF6800LE the silent way
Hello, fellow SPCR members! This is my first post in here. So, I have a Leadtek GeForce 6800LE (WinFast A400 LE TDH), which is supposed to have a 'quiet' cooling solution, but in reality it is very noisy. It does, however, have a nice and heavy copper-based heatsink on both sides. I have been search...
