I miss my ASUSProbe :(

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I couldn't see any software section My old asus board was on the way out (BIOS issues making it a pain to restart and gradually getting worse) so I just got an Athlon 64 3200+ (With a really nice TDP by the way, idles at 23 degrees with my zalman 7700 on lowest spee...

If you don't care about the warranty, personally, I would open the thing up and unsolder the wires I didn't want. I would find it easier to solder them back in than put new plugs back on the end if you ever did want to get the wires back.

Actually lead can also be absorbed through the pores in your skin. However this is usually only the case if you wash your hands with hot water. After touching lead, allways wash your hands with cold water and soap. For bizmuth, try a shooting supplies store. Bizmuth is used by shotgun hunters these ...

I've allways thought it would be cool to stick a zalman reserator outside/under my house, with the tubes coming in through the wall/window or whatever, and have quickrelease plugs on the wall and box so you could take it out to service etc.

Maybe you could do something like that.

Galaxy 6800XT with zalman cooler standard.

http://www.galaxytech.com/news/listst1.asp?s_id=13 I'm thinking of investing in one of these. I am thinking this or the ASUS 6600GT silencerr which is more expensive and a slower chip. (Which I don't know of anywhere else that stocks anymore btw :( ) Good idea? I like the idea of a card with a quiet...

Re: Could be a wait...

I haven't even seen any for sale online here in Oz, are they available yet? Also, do you think it'll be worth the AU$99? You could get the Scythe Ninja and a Nexus (if needed) for that same amount :?: I haven't seen them for sale here either. Personally, I would rather spend the extra $30 and get a...

Lol, I didn't really think about that, but it doesn't need quite 14v. I've had decent results @ around 2A with a heatsinked 7812 coming off a dirty sub 13v transformer . But yeah, you would need more. Hmm, perhaps you would get enough off going between the +3.3 and -12v. However, I don;t have much e...

I'd get a voltage regulator too. Here's a little diagram I whipped up for you. It isn't too complex. http://img485.imageshack.us/img485/9166/voltagecleaner6ka.gif The voltage regulator will have a code something like 7812 or LM340T12. Make sure you get one that will take enough current for your moni...

I'd probably get this, mainly because of its dimensions, except that if it retails at the same price as the XP-120, then it will be $30AUD more expnsive than the Ninja. To me, it looks like more of a go than the ninja without a fan. IMO, right under a 120mm PSU fan should be adequate looking at the ...

I was gonna get one(a p150 that is), but stumbled across this forum first. I expect I will still get one, eventually, however there seems to be problems with a lot of computer components at the moment for some reason, or at least all the ones I want to buy. I think I will just hold off buying a new ...

Out of interest, how many Non-Aluminium cases don't get this? I know many american cars, ok not many, just chrysler ones, have arrived in Australia rusty. It's going to happen to unprotected steel during shipping, it's just one of those things. Anyway, get a pot of rust convertor. I would do it if I...
