Re: My quiet box

I think it's a real beauty  , that front panel makes me feel like I was 20 again :):):) (.. it sure looks like something from the late 80's) Very tidy build indeed, kudos for nice pics. Re: My quiet box

It's an old S12 so it spins all the time. The rig is updated, now there is a CoolerMaster SilentPro M500, Noctua U12P+ Scythe KamaFlow2 900@7V , a 170mm Xigmatek 900rppm in the front @5V, A KamaFlow2 900@7V at the back and a very rare AMD Radeon HD6570 DDR5 low profile with AC L2 Pro...the rig makes...

Re: Coolermaster vs. Seasonic vs. XFX

My coolermaster is very quiet so I'm not sure where this "loud loud loud" comes from. Not the silent M series thats for sure. I think some folks stick to a list and ignore some good products because it's not on the SPCR recommended list. This is a useful site but the lists are out of date quite a b...

Re: Coolermaster vs. Seasonic vs. XFX

Oh, there's something wrong with the article or the article in this link. http://www.silentpcreview.com/Recommended_PSUs But I believe that list hasn't been update for a long time. It was last updated Feb 19, 2011. Why would you even consider getting a coolermaster??????????? My experience with the...

The choice has been made...CM SilentPro M500. I got it for a reasonable price, and it's modular...and i am happy to report - silent...just as my Seasonic...so - recommeded

This and the ripple are my only concern about this PSU, otherwise i would bought it. I like flat cables and the price here is reasonable. Is this CM as sillent as Seasonic S12 series?

Re: Coolermaster vs. Seasonic vs. XFX

Hi noisekiller, is your Seasonic PSU actually giving problems or noise or are you just concerned it's not powerful enough? I've tested my PC, GTX560 Ti & i7-2600K @4.5GHz on my Seasonic S12-II 330w PSU! It runs fine and under folding@home pulls 330w AC which is about 280w DC from the PSU. I would t...

Coolermaster vs. Seasonic vs. XFX

My 5 year old Seasonic S12-380 i getting weak for my PC so i am considering replacement. The priorities are: 1) Silent (if it is just as quiet as my Seasonic i would be very pleased) 2) Quallity build (Seasonic is 5 years old and still working like a charm) 3) Modular (i dont need much cables so thi...

How do you get the 4V for the PSU fan? I mean, you might use it to feed the exhaust too.
Because it's the same Slipstream M but on Seasonic control. I can se it runs slower and it is silent.

Well...im not good at all with soldering and such things. As for the fan...i don't mind if it would always run that low...i have AMD Phenom 555BE @ B55 3.8GHz. The problem is that i don't know. I'm not an expert in such things. I just took the fan that has been there and connected red and black wire where the original wires have been. The original fan had only two wires. The original was some 50mm thick fan on the back...it was noisy. P.S.-sorry my bad eng...
