SATA II does not support read rates of 800 megabytes per second and writes at 600 MB/sec.

I swapped the fan on my 7700cu to one from a Papst 4412 F/2GL. OMG what a difference it does regarding noise. Cooling was not affected at all though the Papst spins at a lower rpm than the stock fan.
