Why not standard SATA II?

Sounds like it needs a lot of juice and may generate lots of heat as well.
SATA II does not support read rates of 800 megabytes per second and writes at 600 MB/sec. :)

Flash drives do not produce much heat at all.

Anandtech says watercooling is dead after showing better cooling & noise levels from a number of HSFs. This result seems to match what we've said here. OMG! They tested the equivalents to low budget coolers. Everybody who has tested watercooling, and not chosen the low budget/low performance route,...

Please Mike, could you confirm if the fan is soldered? I've double readed the article and there is nothing in there. Thank you very much! Hello! I've just swapped the fan in my ZM600HP to a scythe S-FLEX 1600rpm. The fan is soldered with two wires, but it is a easy task to just cut the wires and so...

Shadowknight you are missing the point (and being obnoxius ;) ). I am aware of that most cases are less than perfect. Should we not bring attention to these issues instead of of hailing the least imperfect case? Here is my idea of a "Fantasy Perfect case" ;) http://home.vasteras2.net/embargo/Perfect...

So the general opinion is: As long as there is no "fantasy perfect" (I really do like that description :D ), dust proof case on the market I MUST NOT complain about and criticise the existing designs?!? No. The only way to get these "fantasy perfect" cases out to consumers is by criticising the exis...

imo, kabanan's comments are sour and picky. He's not comparing the case to any product that exists but some fantasy perfect case in his mind. I've never heard of anyone who wants to clean the filters every 2 weeks. Well, since I got so many replies to my "sour" and "picky" comments it's more than a...

Well, I bought the Antec Solo which is basicly the same as the P150 without the PSU. I must say that I am disappointed. First of all, you must remove the side-panel to get access to the locking tabs for the front bezel. Everytime I want to clean the dustfilter (every 2 weeks) I must also remove the ...

I recommend you to choose the AC Silencer IF it is possible to set the fan speed to zero while idling. I had one on my X850XT PE and with ATItool set the fan to start running at 5% when it reached 50° celsius. While in 2D it never got to those temps and the noise while playing a game did not bother...

Re: Arrgghh!!! Whining NeoHE430

Anyone else experienced this?. My Antec Truepower 2 does the same thing. Although it seems to whine more under load. But not always, only randomly. Haven't tried the "hitting the case" solution. I have had coils whining on a motherboard once, but when I moved the whining stopped. Must have been rea...

I swapped the fan on my 7700cu to one from a Papst 4412 F/2GL. OMG what a difference it does regarding noise. Cooling was not affected at all though the Papst spins at a lower rpm than the stock fan. With the FanEQ on my Abit AT8 32x I can control the fan depending on the CPU-temp. While idling it s...
