Q: How do I shut up my optical?
A: Use Nero DriveSpeed or CDBremse (I also think AnyDVD can do this ... any other? )

Are the IDE (PATA) versions just as quiet?
I use a barebone (EY 855) for HTPC (no SATA ports) - and a Samsung IDE 250GB, which has a (after some struggeling) OK noise and vib. level.

Hi! Great review! however; If you decide to use as 120mm fan PSU, it can be mounted upside down so that the fan faces upwards. Can one use the included PSU with a 120mm fan?
