If I would build it for myself I'd probably go for something like duct tape, which is an even easier (and much safer) solution than the turn of the screw . However I'm building it for other people and they will have to plug in the cloverleaf power cord on the other side of the adapter. If they push...

Instead of drilling the brick, why not use heavy duty double sided tape. http://www1.mscdirect.com/CGI/NNSRIT?PMPXNO=2012209&PMT4NO=23590586 You could even use jb weld. Personally I would not drill it as you can't open it to see if any of the electrics are high enough to come in contact with the scr...

Ah!! I see you have ditched the Centurion and gone with P150 to say the least. Looks good, how much more quieter is the P150 as compared to the centurion. I have been considering the Solo, but I keep on missing sales for that case. It's a lot more quieter then the centurion, however. The centurion ...

I received a replacement case dated Jan 06, and was able to test the system with the neohe430 that was in it. The unit was a revA4 s0604XXXXXXX, and the system ran fine. I had to put that power unit in the damaged case to be returned to the company though. A new neohe 430 is on the way to replace th...

So nvidia chipset users are out of luck wit this model power unit? No, not necessarily, just my luck, and Asus boards. This incompatibility has been fixed on the next generation of both boards and PSUs. But the board was not an asus. guess it has incompatibility issues with other makers as well. In...

You wrote it yourself in the other thread: The P150 has 2005-12-20 stamped on the main board tray I think the problem is fixed now, but do inform us if your RMA unit doesn't work. My first generation Neo430 works with Intel chipsets, never worked with nVidia ones. So nvidia chipset users are out of...

What is current status of the P150-Antec Neo HE 430?

I recently brought a P150 which included a S05 based 430 which did not power the system it's going to be used on. So Is this still an issue or is this a case of old stock? Has anyone been able to get this psu to work with board listed in the post. For more info i posted here including where it was b...

Thanks for your help\replies guys. SD-Plissken what do you mean by Modular PSU? Also if I buy a Solo is fitting a seperate PSU an easy job? I have only ever built systems with cases that have built in PSU's on them. I would probably go with a Seasonic S12 if I bought a Solo. Thanks, Danny. The P150...

It's going to depend on your build/budget The P150 with the psu can be isolated as shown in other spcr builds so this may help with noise. The solo's benefits are that you can choose your psu make, and how quiet it's from the start. doing it this way may add a little to the price if your on a budget...

Hey everyone, I too have been considering a P150. Actually, I was looking for a way to quiet my HDD's, and my SmartPower has started to whine, and for the price, I though a P150 is a good deal. (Quiet case + Quiet PSU) I have a Gigabyte board, so I'm not worried about incompatibility. My only quest...

I purchased two B-stock P150s this year and both PSUs worked fine with Asus motherboards. One is an A8N5X and the other is a P5B Deluxe.
Antec does not take my method of payment so their B-stock is out of the question.

Thanks though.

You could email antec, and get a set of replacement bands. Which was talked about in this thread Is your P150 HDD suspension rubber band OK? What does your current Antec TruePower 380W have problems powering? Personally I would trouble shoot that first before buying a new psu. As for the silverstone ST-365 it's solid as well as quiet, and should have no issues powering the specs posted. This is what i power off this psu http://www.silentp...

It's a nice case, however. I'm sure Bluefront and Felger Carbon could build one these in their sleep, and it would probably out perform the the retail one.

So the real question is which one would an SPCR member want to use the retail or the Bluefront and Felger Carbon special ?

Hello, The P180 is a fine case, but in my opinion it is "more" case than is required for most people. It has space for 6 or 7 hard drives? The Antec Solo or P150 are excellent cases with slightly more modest aims: room for 3 drives when suspending them, or 4 if you use the sleds. They have very nic...
