Why would you want to put the OS on a separate, additional, relatively slow notebook drive anyway? If you're going to install a large-capacity 3.5" drive in any case, an additional drive will only add more noise regardless of how quiet it is individually. Maybe i did it wrong??? anyway: I need advice for selection of storage for my HTPC: Athlon 64 3500, x1600pro, 2gb Ram, Aerocool ZeroDB 620 in mCubed HTX cabinet, CPU & GFX cooled passively via heatpipes...
