hmm, 250 for xonar, another 100 for hd-dvd blu-ray combo, another 300 (at least!) for case and interior. hmm, ive got ep-35 for 200, a ps3 (remember, it also plays games) for 400. so for 600 i have a fully legal, non problematic, upgradeable (sony wont let its flagship br player to die or be not up ...

Gateway FPD2185W - when brightnes is below 90+/-5 it whines easy to hear and annoying, whine is heard even from few meters away from monitor in all directions. i had few of them and all have this issue. NEC MultiSync 20WGX2 - dead silent on all brightnes levels. its makes very, very quiet whine in ...

nafets, you are wrong - ninja instructions have nothing to hr-01 plus. its very simple why - when you secure brackets from front of motherboard, and secure heatsink there IS NO WAY that brackets will touch mobo. o-rings are only to secure pillars in backplate and pillars are long enough to be above ...

i have 8800GTS rev2 by BFG in pretty silent box (2x120 fander at 720rpm, corsair 620W below half load). for 2D i use 40% 546rpm, which makes card fan equal in terms of noise with other fans in case, and gives 61-62C of gpu. at 3D i use 52% 821rpm (at 3D mode there is auto fan control in 40-52% duty)...

i was thinking about gainward soulution, but there is no chance to get 8800GT GS GLH edition in Poland. 'normal' GS with 2 heatpipes costs 278euro which is a bit high. instead of it ive got new 8800GTS by BFG (for 260euro) and with little tweaking i was able to configure autofan to achive what i wan...

Gateway 2185W - buzz when brightness is below 85 or 92 (observed on several samples), above this value makes iritating high-pitched sound, which i can hear (my solo box is quite silent). its a shame that only apple now makes lcds with external psu, all other put them inside, add a lot of went holes ...

mate, if You dont want to buy system NOW forget such speculation - it have no sense. in 5 months we will have end of the year - new cpus from intel, new gpu from nvidia and for sure price drops. especially when we talk about cpu, gpu, memory, mobo, display, psu or hdd - we know what is good now, but...

NOW MAKE IT FOR LAPTOPS why only for laptops? most of my time when i work, i spend in 2D, so then 3D power can sleep and dont bother me with heat, power consumption and noise. when i turn something which is 3d (mostly games), then switch for full blown 3d mode. it should be already done, its a sham...

Yes. 2x WD5000AAKS would cost 240$ compared to a 399$. Which means you could get one extra drive for the same price. I'd probably still go for a single drive for the extra performance, lower noise and power consumption and the practicality. depens. for me with my solo, where i can soft mount 3 hdds...

why anyone didnt point that 1TB in single hdd solution is expensive? new hitachi monster cost $449 (new egg), when for $480 you can have 4x WD5000AAKS. this wd drive is pretty silent, with softmount its almost unaudible in my setup (i cant turn AAM yet, hitachi tool doesnt recognize my SATA controll...
