Hey, People need to post more pics! I'm personally concerned about the shortness of the PSU chamber, wether hard drives will still fit if a slightly longer PSU is used.. .the spcr review isn't so helpful in this respect. el Filou, can you post pics of your setup? thanks! my fusion (non-max) is getti...

Must admit, i was expecting better results. If you're to charge a price premium, i'd expect that you'd be able to beat the silence results of it's competitors - ie the enermax modu 82+. I suppose it's not all about that, as you've said the power quality is better than it's competitors, but to my lik...

One thing i only just noticed is the fan intake for the PSU - where it is it'll likely not fit a Hx1000 in it. So what you mean to say is that 1-in-500 stupid users wont be satisfied, and 1-in-5000 sensible high-power users wont be satisfied. I only want to know when these damned cases come out bec...

The Fusion Max is about SLI/CF/OC setups, since it can accomodate ATX motherboards (usually with better OC capabilities), and more (and longer) graphics cards. Exactly. One thing i only just noticed is the fan intake for the PSU - where it is it'll likely not fit a Hx1000 in it. They'll likely need...

For a single slot solution it is most often the fastest out there, but it is two cards and they are hard to cool. Personally, if i wanted to spend that much and wanted 'silence' i'd be looking at an x48 motherboard and two 4870's. Remember, a 9800GX2 is just two 8800GT's hooked together, power usage...

I think it really depends on your case elemental. I'm running my system (E6750 @ 3.2Ghz, 8800GT) completely passive except for the two nexus 120mm exhausts. There is a PSU fan, though as it's airflow is seperate i'm not sure it should be counted. Temps are excellent, noise is practically non-existan...

Re: Dont understand...hd4850 10w idle @ 68c
Looking at some early info about amds upcoming hd4850 graphics card. Some people have got these cards early and are reporting idle temps at around 68c. I thought these cards were to burn around 10w idle? Apparently the fan profile turns on late and turns on slow, so the card will get that hot. Coup...

It's been so long since this thread, and i finally got around to buying a Minja. Originally i didn't bother, as my htpc was not making sufficient noise for me to bother. This was running an E6750 @ stock in an antec Fusion. Recently i've bought some new components, and thought it was high time to ov...

^^ yep, same same the old model of LC20. The new one has horizontal hdd cages, so you can't pull the same trick off. A mate of mine has an 8800GTS in his LC20. Hammer: You don't have any coil whine with that card? I remember reading that their 8800gt had a huge coil whine problem. After reading this thread, i was put off buying the Sparkle 8800GT. Re: Corsair HX620 - want to INCREASE fan speed
The thing is...having more hot air go through a psu is really not a good idea. Minimizing psu heat/fan speed is a key for silence. You really do need a seperate exhaust fan to handle your non-psu heat. The whole purpose of that other case fan is to remove the heat that you currently don't want. Yep...

I like the look of it 8) any ideas whether this will fit a fusion? Looks very similar to the MSI 8600/2600 series as far as hight goes, which means 'maybe'. I 'modified' my case lid to make that one fit though, so anything's possible. I'd also be concerned that the fins drop down far enough so as to...

The point is debatable, but a PCI slot is more useful than a Parallel port is. Personally i'd be happy if they killed off parallel, serial, and IDE in one swoop. PCI can stay, it's days aren't over yet. There's still a number of devices that you can't get on anything but (or have limited choices in ...
