My Logitech G5 (2nd Rev with 2 Buttons) makes an extremely faint noise when put RIGHT up against my ear in a dead silent room, I really have to try hard to listen for it. With my ear about 1inch away from the mouse I cannot hear it at all. My MX Revolution is completely silent with no noise what so ...

Thanks for the help. I guess you had no luck in finding a 4-pin power connector fan controller either, eh. I will try what you mentioned. Thanks again. To be honest I didnt bother searching. Because there is such a good range of 3pin controllers available, if you went for a 4pin controller if you f...

you can buy the 3pin fan controllers. then buy the fan connector converter cable. converts the 4pin connection of your fans to 3pin, and then they work perfect with the fan controller. Have done exactly that myself. Make sure you get the converter cable the right way round, as there are "3pin to 4pi...

I would point the PSU fan upwards because hot air is less dense than cold air, so rises. therefore the psu will help exhaust more hot air out of the case when it is mounted with the fan upwards. This is especially useful if your HDs are mounted in the lower compartment with the psu, as it will help ...

Corsair ram is perfect for yourself as they are a very popular company with superb customer support. Most people go for the Crucial Ballisti ram because they have Micron D9 chips which are good for overclocking, but if you are not going to be overclocking or only lighly, then Corsair is fine. The As...

The mobo is good but I prefer the Asus P5K-Dlx for a little more money. However, if you are not going to overclock (as I would assume by your memory choice), both are a little over the top and you can get a much cheaper one that performs exactly the same. If you can stretch slightly more for the Q66...

If he is happy with replacing the fans with exact same new ones, just contact Antec through their online RMA and they will send you replacements for free. I use TAT to put my processor under stress to get the load temps. My case is an Antec P180B and I have got all Yate Loon D12SL-12 fans on everything i...

If I switch off my top fan, my cpu load temp increases by 2 degrees at load. If I reverse my top fan so that it is an intake, it actually lowers my cpu load temp by 3 degrees lower than normal when both are exhaust. However, it increases the ambient temp inside of my case because most air is just ci...

I assume it will work just fine with the Nexus fans? Yep, the Nexus fans have a 3pin connection that goes into the Zalman fan controller. If you are overclocking, the OCZ Platinum Rev2 isnt that good for overclocking. I would strongly recommend any memory with Micron D9 chips.
