What sucks about it, is new board layout, so it wont fit in any previous nuc fanless cases. CPU would probably have too high tdp for that.

Actually button is quite hard to press, it goes really deep before switch triggers. I rarely use it myself, h81 mobo and power on usb doing great job. Missed that feature in many sandy bridge motherboards.

You know, top of the case is standard extension slots, whole case frame, cables, and then there is top panel, which is a mesh. It is significantly more restrictive than for example top in normal atx case that has only a mesh there. Because there is less layers.

Using different gpu cooling than stock would improve results greatly. Just get cheapest reference 970 and buy proper cooler. When it comes to 290, definitely not good idea for quiet rig.. no matter what cooler. These cards just run way too hot, to be efficiently cooled by 2 slot coolers, at spcr grade noise levels. Idle is possible, but load, not a chance.
